Description
Hello!
I was inspired by a Zippo lighter someone made over at the Cinema 4D gallery, it was nice and I have very little experience with HDRI and so I thought I should have a go at it, this is how it turned out.
Modeled, textured and rendered in Lightwave by me.
Thanks for viewing!

the materials & rendering look much better than the lighter in the C4D gallery (but C4D was used for modeling only, rendering was Vue5) I like this brushed metal look. also nice backgound. But the zigzag at the wheel/flintstone is nearly invisible. to small scale? i forgot: it wise not to reflect the hdri environment. I always have to laugh if i see Paul Debevecs kitchen in the reflections (for exammple in outdoor scenes :-O
