This could be a scene from Le Garage Hermique de Jerry Cornelius (Lewis Carnelian), a copy of which is stored in my own (not-so-airtight) garage! The subject of this photo has that same victorian-baroque-industrial style. Excellent capture & postwork, Laurence!

I don't feel qualified or sufficient to comment on this. Am simply lost for worlds / words!! Surreal lighting and composition, somewhere between HG Wells & Jules Verne. Weird & totally wonderful!
