My real name is Curt. I'm originally from Kentucky (USA), currently living in Wisconsin. I'm divorced with three kids, and love to take photos. Thank you to all who have kind words to say about my my photos, and thanks for the needed criticism as well. I really want to get better at this, and am working on getting better equipment as well. ;-)

Such a strange yet dramatic-looking sky!! Well you definitely got a awesome shot for one thing... doesn't matter that much that you missed the lightning. Great stuff! :)

You definitely got a sizeable chunk of it - but what is most amazing is the look of the clouds as the lightning gives you the equivalent of a gargantuan flash placed in the distance. Very nice!

hahaha... I've been trying for a couple of years now, it's not that easy. No matter how you cut it, you've still got a lightining bolt in there and the atmospherics are great. Nice work, I'm envious LOL.

Living where I do in California, lightning and thunder storms are a rarity..but I remember them well from my earlier years..makes one respect the power of mother nature..good job in getting what you did..

WOW!! Fantastic! You can even see the rain pelting down around the lightning .. and LOOK at those clouds! Fabulous shot!
