Favorite sayings:
Old as dirt, but with a fresh washed spirit and a mind that does not know the difference.
My bicycle is slower than yours.
If you had left when you first got here, you would be there by now.
I would not render with me either if I was you.
Keep your wheels rubber side down.

Nature bats last.
Tuffest things I have ever done:
Long's Peak, 1998 Ride the Rockies, with bronchitis.
Wolf Creak pass 1991 with bike trunk full of rocks.
I like Rederosity because:
I can see great art and sometimes tips on how it was done.
Lots of creativity and talent on display
I can share my efforts and get upbeat, helpful comments, warn fuzzies, and real suggestions on how to do better.
I can lend my eyes and mind two others, critically view their work, and make suggestions which may enable them to progress even further along a talent and skill path which seems to be without bounds.
Did I mention all the creativity and talent?
I want it all, your art, your comments, and your respect darn it!

Very interesting indeed !!! This wonderful background could also be used to act as a water surface seen from below (under water) maybe with a small tiny bit alteration in the color. Nice render !!!

MMm... light is fine - overlighting is a well used technique and i think it suit well in there - perhaps the saturation is a bit too strong, but overall it's looking fine to me - could be one of those strong-color covers from some magazines for people younger than i am! LOL! ;)

Lighting is cool! Textures could use something? I like where it is going!

Great lighting and shadows!!Excellent work!!

Definitely interesting - over bright? I don't think so - it really depends on what effect you are looking for. I like the sharp contrasts between the light and dark sides of her face - and how the bridge of the nose seems to deliniate the border between the two zones. A very interesting and successful portrait! Some interesting work can come from playing around. ;)

Good strong colours make for an interesting portrait Mike :)

Woah! The skin, even if satured as u told, is great! The bump and the reflections give a nice wet effect! And i like the contrast between her face and the background.

LOL Sorry Mike, I'm laughing at choronr's avatar! Your image is gorgeous! This is what I'd call hot or at least warm lighting effects, and it works beautifully here. This could easily be a mag or book cover shot! Very professional work! Fav!
