Description

G'day. This shot is taken at Killkunda Beach using slight telephoto effect to compress the distance of the image!! Just trying things out. Anyway this beach faces the southern ocean of Australia (Bass Straight - S/E of Melbourne) which gets some very stong winds and currents (waves) from further south (as far as Antactica)!! As you can see from the slope of the beach edge/sand it has stong currents/rips and can easily drag you out to sea. Too dangerous for the the kids!! Still i love the power of wild surf in these locations. Enjoy Lou PS:Do a Full View for Full Flavour!!

What a scene/view of that beautiful dangerous beatch!! Guess what! I love places like this, and there is one twice dangerous in Alex-Egypt.. Most of the time there, i have to visit that place not watch! But to jump in and swim all the way inside for about 0.8 km to reach some islands! The waves goes about 3-4 meters in the summer and upto 5-6 in the winter! :)) Love the low light and your cropping is superbe Lou! Thank you for the share Missy and have a nice day/night JOE
