Hey philly-let us see your work -I too can bend my that way as well-Like wysiwg said-the lady is a model OK-Now you tell me who knows more about lighting-a professional MODEL or you. When & if she puts her tutorial you watch how many will jump on it. That having been said-philly- I would give the lady a 100 if I could-Enough said.

Yo, philly! I am sitting here instead of working looking at my fingers which are in exactly the same config as "Face". As for the lighting, Catharina being a model would know that what is shown is studio lighting, one or two main lights with smaller "fill" lighting to reduce the harsh shadows. Hair looks OK on my 19" Compaq. Ok, I'll give you the one about the skin folds. As for the rest, Catharina, when do we get a tutorial? Absolutely fabulous!!

well gj, but i HAVE to say a few things. first her pinky is bent to much. try bending just your pinky, u cant. next u have two light systems showing up so it looks flat. it looks like 3 photos pasted together because u have no cast shadows (hand, face, neck). the hair is pixelated, u might want to do somthing about that. the nuckles are smooth(edges) but u have a map with ridges on it(skin folds). her right ear should be darker, or her right side of face should be lighter. her entire body is pitted. oh well. gj, i do like what u are trying to do but it doesnt look right.

The texture on her face is really really good. The texture you chose for the front of her neck and upper chest appears a bit too pitted to me unless that was your intention. I also see a distinct merge line between two textures travelling down the left side of her neck.

Inspiring work! (I regret not investing in the Victoria model when it was on special. :) Oh, and philly? My sister can bend her fingers that way. Yes, just the TIPS. She's studied piano for a good number of years, BTW. My own pinky bends in that same fashion in a natural manner, but I can't willfully do it. :)

:^)* I like it, the fingers are fine, the bumps are fine. Skin has pours, so therefore it is bumpy. Fingers I am able to do that plus more, someone must have arthritis.

All I can say is Superb.

Hey, awesome image. I think the lighting is a little off, and the hand seems to be doing odd things (why would someone just hang their hand in midair?) but otherwise great. And why is everyone bitching at philly? The idea of posting comments is to suggest improvements, so why don't you do that instead of whining? Just my two cents.
