Fantastic effect! A serious equipment is required for such photography, the possibilities of which were offered since the end of the seventies by the Olympus OM-2 with its fantastic TTL flash system, but much work is a must to approach such result. I do'nt understand how you obtained such sharpness (i.e. sufficient depth-of-field) with only f/4 aperture, because your subject was very small I would have thought f/22 If there would be a "10" rating I would give, but as there is "5" only I shall do with it Finally, it's certainly much easier to do in 3D than in photography

I like the background colour work and the way different colours are caught in the drop. And the way you caught the drop, froze the movement and created a glass sculpture. Very good DoF. And the "composition" is also very good.

@Elcet: Thanks for your kind words. Regarding the aperture value you will notice that the DOF is VERY small: foreground and background (and even the small droplet some milimeter away in the background) are blurred as a rusult of the aperture value. With aperture 22 you could see what I used as background: a simple sheet of green coloured paper :-) BTW: the flames are a result of an additional simple bulb light.
