Description
The ferry takes about eight cars. 50 pence each for us as we are walking. Takes three minutes to cross this narrow part of Lake Windermere and the ferry operates by pulling itself along a cable. It's going to land just to the right of that large house. We will walk along the shoreline for a bit then cut up through the woods. I am mentally planning on where I am going to photograph my boots. More on that later.
