Description

Hey guys, So it's Friday and the Rendo withdraw starts tomorrow... I did all of these shots to see which is the best POV. I climbed up the mountain off the beaten path to get the view.

Ha! Crazy woman! Honest opinion? I like the portrait and the framing of the rock on the left one. The bottom one is cool too, I just think the rock is a bit too much there. I'm not sure what to think of the top one, don't like it that much. But all and all, I think this is wonderful! Still think you're nutters though g

Definitely the portrait view does it for me! Distant mountains and misty skies with colourful reminders nearby that you are part of the scenery too. Hugs!

This collage made me realise how under utilised it is and one should use it much more. Your presentation is excellent and the depth of the image great.

Portrait works a best for me! You show a little of everything, sky, valley, hidden path and a main subject a flower on a ledge! ( perhaps I would clone a little purple flower from a bottom)

I like the lower right one best, it has "your touch" the top one, is a but dark when sitting here with the others, and may work very well on its own. The portrait is also a good shot, but it feels for me like its the typicall shot to take at a place like that. I was a bit curious about the name of the place, In sweden we use both draken and berg, but I guess this is not from sweden, and there fore I wonder about the meaning of draken, In swedish draken=dragon and berg=mountain, is that what it means or has draken another meaning? I think I have heard draken being used about a seacreature to, tha was more like an gigantic eel. Well, anyway great shots.

Vera, nice shots here... I like that it gives everyone a chance to examine each and figure out which is the best photography. I am going to disagree with most of the above and insist that the bottom right is the better. The top right is underexposed and may be salvageable if you at least select the plant and give it some highlight. The portrait is too busy and lacks a real focus - the fact that you included the dirt path at the bottom takes the mystery out of the shot also. The portrait shot is decent yet it is the strong diagonals that make the bottom right the best, in my opinion. These diagonals make for a very interesting and artistic composition and there is no confusion about the fact that the plant is the focal point here. Also, there is an air of mystery about this plant clinging to the edge of the rock (seemingly in the middle of nowhere.) And since your background is not really very detailed in any of these shots it should only serve as a way to achieve a sense of height/scale. All of this being said though, the crop on the bottom right image is a little tight at the bottom and right, but that is a small thing... Very nice study though! +++
