To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Sorry honey, don't have any coffee in my system yet... so I'm no help to ya. I agree with you though..... it looks familiar for some reason. Just can't quite put my finger on it though. Hope you have a great weekend. I've got to go visit some galleries, write up some critics, and spend more time trying to photograph toilet paper. (OK, I'll explain.... it's a photography project. It's all about contrast and filters.) Never thought I'd have problems with toilet paper, but guess who's "backed up" on this one. (Yes, I just had to go there. Couldn't help myself really.) Talk to you later Mina.

Don't know either.... but I like it. Plus I'm a big fan of Carl Jung. I once did an image in tribute to George Bernard Shaw, one of my heros. I will post it to my site soon. You do good work, thanks for sharing it with us. later gater, Dan

Elements within the picture are Paul Klee-ish. The Head looks more Picasso. But 'tis all guesswork from general styles. btw I not sure I altogether agree with Jung [or Freud or Adler come to that] I'm suspect we spend too much time "inside" - and it's all their fault! Great picture, btw, colour and composition are perfect. Mike

I really have no Clue Mina. I'l do some checking though, if I discover anything I'll get back to ya. Interesting Image though, dig the colors and feeling. I agree with Meico, too much time looking inside may not be good, might not like what you find. & have a great weekend Mina Peace

me too...it looks very familiar but i really have no clue. Sorry. Great work!!!

Fantastic image Mina ... when I first viewed this, my attention was drawn to the image's center and then to the lines denoting the face. That just popped into consciousness. Dada-esque!!! This image and some of the comments seems to reflect our individual cultural biases as it triggers unconscious codes. In some cultures it's appropriate to say, "I think, therefor I am." In American culture it's, "I do, therefore I am." Just an observation and no value judgments are intended. Well done. I love this image!

Do you mean the whole image Mina, or just a special part of it? What- and whoever, it is a fantastic image, and Jung is of course right. No...have not a clue, sorry.

I can't say.Maybe Rauschenberg?I know he did 'squares' like these about the same time I was doing something similar in grad school.Regardless, this is another extraordinary piece. The colors and the composition areabsolutely fabulous.I wish I could do this, because then I would paint it.Your work is an inspiration,Mina!-M :^) PS-Upon looking at it again,Kandinsky and Miro' come to mind...I don't know if that helps...LOL,I sympathise.I hate it when I can't remember something or something is on the fringes of my memory.I'll obsess about it until I find out, lol. PPS-I have to laugh that you call yourself,'moi'.I do that all the time!

Everyone knows, nobody can cite . . . must be something from the collective unconscious . . . (Having a hard time believing nobody beat me to that!)
