Description

I sorry I do not know my cars lol tallpindo knows them inside out. I tried to pronoun the name of this car but I could not so no one around me could spell it for me. I tried a google looky on the net but nothing lol So if any one knows please tell the others. And if you look and no one yet say what it is please come back for tallpindo or someone else would have say it. I need to carry a notepad around but that will do no good if I can not spell or talk right. lol I do know what the old man that owns this say to me "This came from a barn of some one that dies and the family got hold of the car club I in and I bought the car. Looked it up on the net and it worth around $160,000 U.S." I do not know it; as is or restored??? It is in real good shape. I have other photos of this car but not as good as the ones I showing you. I do know what you see on the front of the radiaor is some bars. Top photo the bars is closted and as the motor warms up there is a vaccome[misspelled lol] hose that will open up the bars to let the air pass thought the radiaor. They made this just for one year and that was in 1935 which is this car Thanks for looking and comments

LaSalle? It's the car that Edith Bunker used to sing about in the theme song. Those tires look like a lot of the ones I've ridden on, this one will be cool when someone fixes it up!

Great car and photo. Jock I thought a Cajun would know the name LaSalle, it is French word. I found the radiator emblem and grill emblem on google. The grill emblem is 1916.

Is'nt STANEY or STALEY, and LaS will be the unique and celebrate name of this car ? STANEY was an american constructor at the beginning of the XX century. Goods pictures with well details. Thanks JOCKO !!!

For a date I would place this car as 1926 to about 1931. That is from the simplicity of the radiator trim and the roundness of the fenders. As to why a LaSalle would have LaS as it's badge I don't know. They were a later car in the 30's as you first surmised. Hmmm this does not quite do it http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/fr/images/LaSalle.jpg This is it http://www.100megsfree4.com/cadillac/lasalle/lasalle.htm The first car was March 1927 according to this page.
