Description

We left the little town of Bishop early morning (07.00 AM), because of our visit to Death Valley. We read about summer temperatures, so.... Well, to be honest, Death Valley lived up to it's reputation of being a 'hotspot'. Near Badwater (the lowest point on land in the Western hemisphere) we reached 117

We will be heading to Death Valley soon to camp. I wouldn't even try it during the summer months but this time of year I think I can survive. :-) Lovely image and great pov.

You stayed in Bishop! I live 30 minutes from there! Now you are getting into one of my favorite areas...... Death Valley! But as a local.... I know better then to visit in summer! LOL ;p I spend a week there in Feb or March when the temps are more tolerable!!!!!
