He cut his plasma diffusion engines over the river and let the mag-lev net of the under-ground interchange grab his Dart as he skimmed into the vast underground. He flew back toward Taru City and landed at his secret garage. He dropped the keel from his craft, and connected the vertical stabilizers, and plasma spike-fusion engine. He jumped back in and popped out of the underground tube-way near one of the Agri-Domes. He came in sub-sonic and flying Nape-of-the-earth through the ruined city, toward Trashtown. Even though 99% of all aircars would never fly again due to the sky-net traffic failure, tinkerers like him kept the Flying cities air-traffic nets plenty busy. Jaffa smiled as he cut off the old recordings of music and dailed up Marr on her comm. He lost his smile when he saw how serious she looked.
