Description

Middelburg is the capital city of the province of Zeeland. It has an extraordinary town hall: the building you can see here. Building was started in the year 1452 and it took many, many years to complete it and then...then it was destroyed in World war 2. But.. after the war, the town hall is rebuild and now it is like it was in the year 1500..

This is an incredibly wonderful building! Our own town hall was only about 50 yeras old and they tore it down and started over again. I can't imagine anything being built so well and so beautifully that it would stand so long! Great detail and clarity!
