Description

... and talkin' to the moon... ;) It's been that kind of day. The only other time I can remember feeling like this was one afternoon when I was driving home from my parents house. I looked in my rear-view mirror and saw the Oscar Meyer Weiner mobile cresting a hill behind me. The weiner showed up first, of course, and it was quite a sight. Just a huge, shiny weiner gaining on me from behind. The warning printed on the side-view mirror of my pickup that says, "Objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear" made things all the more terrifying... lol! Thanks so much for your gracious and kind remarks on some of my previous stuff. In a world where weiners on wheels can creep up on a person out of nowhere... it's surely nice to know there are wonderful folks like you out there... hopefully armed with barbeque forks... ;) Ultra Fractal. Thanks for having a look... bigger is better. (The image, not the weiner... well... you know what I mean)... Hugs! Helen :)

Remind me to stay off the roads in Canada, especially with giant weiners on wheels on the loose! As far as your latest creation, I can even see the aurora borealis in the center...or a reasonable facimilie. Kinda like a view through Hubble on a clear night. A beauty, LM :)

That must be one impressive telescope, with some mighty fine complex curvatures; unlike the weiner which probably only had one. Beautiful work, great use of color and imagination!

Oh my gosh that is just well what can I really say! I am stunned! That is a real tripping image. I was looking at something else until this image popped up on the screen and then looked at it and it smacked me in the face. It is simply delightful in every way. Well done!

This is just a beautiful, wonderful image. Love that Gaussian-starlit background. At first I didn't quite understand the weiner story, until I thought that it must be a car or something with a weiner on top? Riiiight... and in the hills you'd feel like you were followed by a weiner. Yeah, that can be creepy. lol. Just glad we don't have (m)any hills here, or cars with weiners for that matter ^_^

What I really love about this one are the super sharp details, it is soothing for the eyes. It is also amazing what endless varieties the classic formulas and algorithms still have to offer. The cool and limited pallette goes well with the shapes.
