Canto XVII, lines 25-27

thrashing, and twisting up the envenomed fork

He looks weary with his eternal task. Fancy having to deal with dammed sinners every day, what a thankless task ? Nice one !

Nice work, Red! I have read and re-read Dante's Inferno numerous times and am always awestruck byu the beauty of the language and the simplicity he used to spin such a complex tale. He makes those inner circles truly sound like places you don't want to be...and you have done a wonderful job depicting the denizen of such a place.

:) Glad to see I'm not the only one around here that's inspired by Dante and his interesting mixture of Greek Mythology and Christanity. Nice!
