Description

This is for Lyne, created following her thread on the loss of her beautiful cat Travis after 17 years. Having lost a few of my own wonderful animals, I understand her loss. Cottage is Zippy's, Travis cat texture is Lyne's, Rocker is Tony Lynch - all freebie items. The so-called quilt over the chair is just a poser primative, draped over the chair in the Cloth Room and textured by myself. Thanks so much for taking a look and for all your wonderful comments ~ have a great day!

How sad that she lost her Travis, it's so hard when you've had a beloved pet for so long. This is a wonderful way to honor his memory :)

It is always difficult to lose a Pet I had a daschaund for 12 yrs and a car was going so fast he ran over him in front of my house and didn't even stop the dirty rat I cried like a baby...he was so spoiled and could bark to Jingle Bells no kidding...slept with me...was there for me when I was sick...happy...mad...he seemed to sense my moods...I said I wasn't going to get another dog....6mos passed and I went out and got guess what another daschaund same color black and tan could be his twin...I have learned him how to bark to Jingle Bells too... Pets are beloved members of one's family and I am so sorry for her loss. This is a beautiful tribute for Lynne...sweetie I am so sorry... But you will always have pics and memories of Travis for a lifetime... Maybe in the future you will get another kitten that you can grow to love like you did Travis...bless your heart sweetie... And your wonderful sweet sis for doing this tribute for her... Heartfelt and touching...If this had aSTAR rating would give you a 10 on this one.... Excellent sis Hugs Susan~

That is such a lovely tribute! I remember when Lyne made that Travis texture. A great render indeed Irene! So sorry to hear about Travis' passing, but he was well loved and had a wonderful life. I am sure he has lots of fun on Rainbow Bridge (http://rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm, helped me a lot when I lost my cat last year).

Looks like my beautiful cat called 'Spider' who lived only a couple of years but was loved much!! Beautiful tribute and work!!! (We called him Spider as he clawed his way up and down the curtains, they were 'pinpricked' and ruined but full of the charm that Spider also held!)
