Well, I guess it's time to update this just a bit. Can't really call myself a beginner anymore (even though some of my stuff still looks like it, lol). It's been an exciting year and a half playing with poser, Photoshop and my Wacom tablet. I'd like to think I've learned a few things. I have no artistic background/education and without the wonderful materials from the vendors here and from other stores, I could never do this. Also, without the constant help and encouragement from my best friend Dennis, I wouldn't have even known where to start. (Thank goodness for Skype.) I'd also like to thank all of you who comment on my work, because frankly, without your support I'd never have found the courage to post here.

Have You lost your way??? Only you can answer that. ...The writings had me til I read: When I look in the mirror, do I see the woman... I hope not, I'm a man. When I look in the Mirror, what truths have I seen??? You've seen them all. Only you know your truths, so when you look in the mirror truth is all you get that you know is true. Nice writings. I hope you are who you want to be. We all have to live with I want this change or that - only when we understand who we are... only then can we really start going in the directions we so desire. Hold your head up high, by the way, that's a lovely picture you did too.

A well written and thought-provoking piece of introspection. I suspect the mirror always lies - we are so much deeper than our surfaces. Perhaps we should accept the superficiality and leave others to peel our layers one by one. The core is inviolable. Mike
