Description

This image took me ages to finish. I should have done it instead of my previous post. Or perhaps my previous post built the path I had to go for this image. Difficult to decide such a thing... I dedicate this image to a very special artist, a generous Lady. Tina, thank you for being there, for inspiring me, for encouraging me. For helping me.

I like the combination of fabric and stone-like textures, it makes a beautiful and interesting contrast. And this range of colours is very attractive.

I looked and looked some more ,till finally it started talking to me ,thats the way it is ,some images just need more time to be able to absorb them . Its a wonderful composition ,that makes this a true work of abstract art .

Thank goodness for the FWW! I had missed this one - and your tribute to Tina is simply beautiful. It is evident that this image is the result of a lot of thought and hard work - from the "torn edges" to the assymetrical "dot" framing. Beautifully done, Andreas - and thank you also for your formulas that allow artists like Tina to create art like "Men at Work"!

It's great to see you post again. You have a very unique style and I like the way you use texture. You're images have a nice painted look. There's so much texture and detail here. I love the colours too.
