Description

Nikon 7900 image. After a very long, dry, hot summer; we finally had a little chilly fall weather in my part of Texas. As I mentioned in yesterday's posting, this gave me a great opportunity to get some shots of slow moving little critters. A very helpful assistance for someone who usually has to get within a few inches of my subjects to get a shot. It was a very productive outing. I managed to find and capture some bugs and such that I had never seen before and I even managed to get a few shots of species I have seen a number of times but could never get close to. Tonight's posting is one of the latter. I have seen this species of Butterfly all summer but never managed to get one to slow down enough to catch up with untill the chill caught em. The larger image will show much better detail for those willing to look. Lee
