Oh sweetie This is definitely not an overkill I think it's just perfect... Love the rose's color and the sunset in the back And indeed the rose did outshine the sunset but the image is beautiful So much so it's going to my favs...I love how the buds are slightly curling and the also the green leaf at the end of the flower... Hugs Susan~ Priceless image...5 stars on this one...

I like the rose very much. I think I may have the same variety in my garden - at least it is very close to one I have. A beautiful, detailed photo of this well-formed bud. The color in the background is very complimentary. Lovely work.

This is an outstanding photo. What a beautiful color and presentation. It looks like a 'Peace' rose. Roses were my husbands favorite flowers and we always had a rose garden. In fact in Portland, there was also a huge circular rose garden one house over in the middle of the intersection. You have really reached my heart. Thanks for sharing. HUGS!!!
