To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Yes, you never know, that's true. Thank for this beautiful reminder, and I send healing thoughts to your daughter and you. Even if she was not hurt badly both of you got a chock i guess, and a reminder of how fragile life is.

Mina, yours is quite a story. I only can say things happen as they should and we only have to be grateful when we have just a near miss... Your daughter is a real beauty. Thanks for the great poem as well.

Lovely tribute. Glad she's ok... go get a lawyer and make him sorry for being such an irresponsible a**hole. She's cute, too, got her Mother's looks ;-) (",)

I can well imagine the mixture of feelings - shock, anger and relief - onhearing this news. A lovely photograph - and your words say it all in the best possible way. Take care, my friend, and continue to cherish each other. Hugs Mike

Beautiful Image Mina, she looks just like her Mom. I am so glad she is OK, a parents worst nightmare, I know. I have read these words before and always have the same reaction, so excuse me, I gotta call my Kids. 5+5 Peace

Thanks Mena, I lost a nephew, 16 year old Kevin, about nine years ago in a car accident. It wasn't a drunk driver situation but losing someone no matter how can be very rough. I often thought about the things I would have said to him if I knew it was the last time. Since I have made it a point to constantly tell my own children how much I love them. I am glad your daughter is okay. love, daniel

Mina, I agree with the others that you have a beautiful daughter and am happy to read that she's emerged from her mishap reasonably well. It's often too easy to forget the tenuous nature of life ... thank you, ever so much, for the reminder. Hugs!

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes.I know exactly how you feel.I almost lost someone very dear to me that way and I can tell you, those emotions I felt are still with me today. It's so important to show the ones you love how much they mean to you.Every day hangs by a thread and we never know what is coming ahead.I've had uploads about this,myself...I'm sooooo happy your daughter is okay. This portrait is beautiful,Mina...and so are the words accompanying it.All my best to you both.-M :^)

Beautiful message of "living today" and beautiful pict, thanks of sharing it. Happy that your daughter was'nt wounded, even if to be catched in a car accident is always a hard thing. I had one 27 years ago, my wife was pregnant then of our son, who is now also a Renderosity member, and even if we all survive (thanks to the fact that the car I choiced had a very robust body) and the responsible of the accident was only slightly wounded, very often today I still think to this moment. But these are happy days now, enjoy a shiny weekend Mina.

Glad she's OK! I felt this way when five of mine were in the same one! Couldn't speak, I was sure my heartbeat was drowning out all the sound in the world. Thanks so much for this! The words are beautiful and so important. I still couldn't put these feelings to words I shake when I think of it and it's been six years! Thanks again for sharing BJ
