Hi Everyone, Caught this little male wren jumping from branch to branch on this tree. He is only about inch tall. So was pleased how this shot came out. Hope you like Darkshadow? Thanks for viewing and comments. Have a lovely weekend. Chris:)

Wonderful macro of the little guy. Beautiful black and white texture on the wren. Contrasts well against the sepia effect -- or is that a light pea soup color -- of the foliage and background.

Very well executed shot. I like the action. DOF is very good. It is difficult to work with such a narrow dof. You have done well. IMO looks like the focus point was just a bit in front of the bird's head. Hard to tell with the branches. Great work just the same. This is one of the hardes shot to take and keep the contrast at a good level. The blacks and whites tend to loose details do to over or under exposure. You are doing excellent work. Keep it up.

Love how his feet is blurred as he reaches forward to grab hold of the next branch - very nice narrow dof, excellent shot!
