Description

I got this wonderful photo from Ilona (vlaaitje) and I just could not keep my hands away from it, HAD to make my version of it. Ilona, you are such a wonderful photographer and friend. Please folks, Take a look at Ilona's gallery, she makes such awesome shots, very much nature macros. She is so kind, she sends me photos of dogs mostly, that she takes just for me to work on, so i can train my ability to make my pet portraits better and better. Thanks Ilona, I treasure our contact! I fell in love with this gorgeous little baby, just 15 days old, and the caring and protecting hand of her father, such a perfect photo. Ilona has posted a black&white version of it in her gallery, and here I show you my painted version of it. Ilona gave me permission, and so has the mother of the baby. Oh my God!!! Please dont tell me you added the color....she sent you the colored one right? I love what you did here!!! Her photo was beautiful to begin with, but you took it to a whole new level with that paint-technique of yours. Incredible work Gun!!!!! Ha en trevlig ldag! #:o)

Having looked at the black and white version really makes me appreciate what you have done here. Your special touch has made this a very tender and sweet image and really draws the attention to a beautiful baby.

Just want to say that Ilona sent me the original photo in color. I guess I am not so good that i could color it and override the beauty of natures wonder.

Gunsan: I always love to make shots for you, you can use my work...."included this baby picture" because the mother gave permission for it....no need to ask me for using my work....and you know this, such as for texture as well....I know you can use it for your gorgeous work......and I am happy that I can make you happy...that's how it works in friendship....and I am glad we met each other here at RR as well....this is really gorgeous......so beautiful....it would look perfect if it is print on canvas.......and hang it on a wall in the living room with a spotlight on it....NO DOUBTS about that...SUPERB GUN....
