Description
I didn't think I'd get this shot. I was just leaving work work and could tell we would have a nice sunset but the sky was changing by the minute and the only place I could stop and get a clear horizon was across the fields near my home some 30-40 minutes drive away. Fortunately it held on long enough for me to get a few shots. Just after this the sky changed completely and wasn't anywhere near as good.

Thats the downside to landscape-photography..you usually dont have all that much time before the conditions change. The other day i saw this amazing pink sunrise. The entire sky was on fire. I jumped in my car and took a 4 minute drive to the lake...only to find that that pink had turned to solid grey in less than 4 minutes...sigh. Oh well....ill get it next time. This shot is absolutely stunning. Such awesome contrast in those clouds, and the colors are just magical. Heck..even those chimneys over there make a great addition to the composition. Excellent capture! Have a wonderful weekend. #:O)

This sunset is outstanding. I love the colours and the clouds. I particularly like the way that you have captured the contrast between the orange and blue hues of the sky.
