It reminds me of Groucho Marx easy consolation question if a contestant did not get any quiz items right. "What kind of fruit grows on a cherry tree?" The mind is so focused that it tracks immediate things which usually it regards as unimportant that when an important thing appears in context it cannot shift and blurts out the name of a friend or boss and cannot speak the obvious.
