AloooooooHa!
Back to the beach this morning as it was too gorgeous a day to be cooped up doing yard work. I'll get to that later today....maybe.
While shooting the waves this morning I saw this seabird trying to get to his little nest hidden amoung the rocks. You don't see many of these birds here, so this was such a bonus when he flew right into the shot. I waited just a little bit for the wave to catch up then snapped this. Little things like this really make my day.

Lovely capture! Brave little flyer. Don't worry about the yardwork, I have found that things I have to do are more patient than lovers. No matter how long I make them wait, my dirty dishes and unmade bed will wait forever for my return! LOL! Besides I think it may be illegal in several states to spend this kind of day at work! There is a lot going on in this view,curving waves,changing hues of blue,powerful hydraulic forces and finally the story of the bird.Oh and did I say I like it very very much !
