Description

So, if you liked my last failure, you might like this one too. Thanks for the previous comments. I like this, but without getting into full Poser animation, showing the sensation of movement, in Bryce, is proving very difficult. Made three meshes in Hexagon and experimented with mats until one looked vaporish. Either that, or she's on fire.

Makes me think of those acrobats/dancers/gymnist who dance silk and make it come alive on stage (like cirque de soleil). Nicely done!

amazing, have to scrub the glass eye on this one! If I ignore the shadow, it could be a seagull against a cloud backdrop.

...come on Dave, we have all read that vapor trails are just the governments way of hiding a plot to take over the weather...pershaps they have hired you to get us off their..tail? Super experiment, looks allot like she is flinging a very long flowing prop... [= No conspirator's were harmed in the typing of this response

Cool. It reminds me of that effect in photography where there's a long exposure with a flash at the end before the shutter closes. But how is this worked out in render? More details please.

I was kind of going for that time-lapse/tracer like look in photography, Paul. The 3 meshes are ribbon-like strips, extruded fron a twisting line and then pushed and pulled a bit.

I dont know if thi shelps but Sdbobe after effects has a lot of plug-ins and filters that make this kind of effect possible/easy to do. a good example of it is the current ipod ad. (is actually a lot easier to make than one would think)
