Description

I waited for quite a while to capture flowers after a gentle rain -- I like water drops on petals -- and last Saturday morning I finally got my big chance. Following the long awaited rain, which lasted all of 15 minutes, I walked over to a nearby park, which has a small plot of rose bushes dedicated to the memory of deceased members of the Norwalk Women's Club, and took macro photos galore in the dim overcast morning light. And, yes, these shots are post worked, or else all you would see on your screen would be a dark, vague, colorless, ill defined image. Thanks for dropping by, and have a vunderbar day!

This looks very much like my Gemini rose that I posted a photo of today. The colors are similar and I do think the Gemini is the most perfect rose for color, durability, form and vase life. This is just gorgeous! Great photo and great skill getting it like this in postwork.

Your post work has brought out the best in them: great colours and a fresh crisp look.

JUST BRILLIANT!!!! What a crisp capture. Love the droplets too. Thats the best thing about photographing wet flowers....all ya need is a bottle of water and then you spray em....works beautifully for cobwebs too. #:o) But devoted as you are, you actually waited for the rain. And it was well worth it if you ask me. Gorgeous photo!!!! Have a wonderful day. #:o)
