Description
About the closest I've yet come to photorealism. Modelled, textured and rendered in Carrara 5 Pro. Ground texture from www.mayang.com. Thanks for looking.

Great realism, my friend. good depth-of-field, much like a Macro photo. good work!

I cannot believe it that it is no photo! What a spectacular Carrara art! Bravo!!!

FANTASTIC CHAINS!! Nice attention to detail. Love the weld seams.

I met a young woman named Annelle. You might think it was just a combination of Ann and Elle unless you knew Spanish. Unless you knew her father owned a mom and pop grocery. Looks like the 3/4 inch welded link chain I had to thread through the hood and bumper brackets of my 1966 Chevelle SS-396 after the air cleaner was stolen off the 360hp Holley equipped rarity. Later there were hood pins with padlocks. Far from primitive. The shader looks very steely.

Nice macro! Love the design of the links and how they interlace!

At first glance, I thought this one WAS a photo. What kind of metal shader are you using? Carrara handles metals quite handsomely. Well concieved, modeled and rendered. Always a joy to see.

Thanks for the comments, the shader is the standard dull metal preset with bump removed and shininess and reflection increased a little.
