Description

Taken on my 17-85mm IS USM. Post in Photoshop. This was actually one of the last shots i took in edinburgh, but i am posting it first because it is one of my favourites from the outing. This is in a pedstrian alley with lots of designer label shops in new building frontages. I saw the mirror whilst rachel was on the phone and saw this shot, so i got her to pose for a few - apparently people were looking at us strangely as they passed, dont blame them really but i wasnt looking at them... Interesting concept, fantastic execution! I love how you've darkened the corners; it's subtle, but it makes the overall effect seem a little surreal and dreamy.

I really like how this came out, it was worth the embarassment :) Only one thing, i know this is vain but my nose looks HUGE, i'll make sure the next shot of me isnt a profile one ;)
