Description

Second contribution in this long series. I waited for quite a while to capture flowers after a gentle rain -- I like water drops on petals -- and last Saturday morning I finally got my big chance. Following the long awaited rain, which lasted all of 15 minutes, I walked over to a nearby park, which has a small plot of rose bushes dedicated to the memory of deceased members of the Norwalk Women's Club, and took macro photos galore in the dim overcast morning light. It is a beautiful yellow rose with a hint of red/orange? Very crisp and excellent detail.

Just lovely!! Drops does look pretty on petals I agree - much nicer than without!! Thanks for sharing this one Goodol'eBoy!!! 8;-)

Look at all the roses going on in this photo. :-) So the blooming isn't done with for your area either. See how the smaller petals provide an umbrella to the sensitive center where pollen hides? Lovely flower photo.
