Description

We all have different filters through which we view the world. Some look through rose glass, and some through broken glass. Just a few look at the world without filter. I wonder how the world looks then Just an energy soup? where we are spots of light and energy?? The world for a bee or a butterfly looks completely different from our world. and we cannot say that our view is more right than theirs. Our brains shape the world. Our senses make it the way we perceive it. Our neurosis distorts the view, and our joy make it beautiful. If nobody is there to hear, does a tree makes any noise when it falls? Ponderings from me who woke up far too early LOL The girl is Emma, but that's a coincidence Thanks for viewing, comments are always appreciated.

Your thoughts are beautifully expressed in your image. It makes me think of a kaleidoscope because of the variety of colors and shapes appearing before our eyes and making us go "Ahhh!". That is a filter that shows nothing but beauty in all its variety, just like everyone and everything around us. Thank you for your magnificent image and thoughts, Gun.

The painting expresses so well some of the ponderings you wrote. Leaves me asking myself which filters do I choose to look through. Your written thoughts are as provoking as your art. Playing off your "filter" theme, I love the "Clarity" that can come in the early hours of a day.

Questions for the ages, interesting but unanswerable. Topics for a conversation over a bottle of wine, in front of a fire, surrounded by friends. A lovely image. Very evocative as well. It too would invite a conversation or two. Thanks for sharing. BJ

Very thought provoking comments and yes, that tree does make a noise...it doesn't need us humans for validation.... Creative and inspired work S

Emma has a very wistful look here which fits the theme well: reality is perception and attitude makes all the difference. Your "ponderings" are most welcome hugs :-)
