A beutiful lake and photo, Evie. Happy belated birthday to you too. I'm doing okay, I guess. lol For just turning 74 anyway. I now have been diagnosed with asthma so that mean more medications. Grrrr I have my good days and bad ones. I'm happy you are able to travel etc. Not only you have the same birthday as me, my sister does also. I was her first birthday present. lol Hugs, Ruthee

After looking I zoomed in on it... The water is so clear you can see the rocks at the bottom... Looks like the water is in layers from a light brown to light blue to sky blue... So beautiful tranquil and serene... Glad you had a good time But there is no place like home huh? Love this sis Hugs Susan~

Richard its called donner lake (one "N" or two not sure) and it's outside of Reno Nevada and runs along the Truckee River which is pretty famous and well known: it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up there about 7000 ft the colors of the trees and lakes were out of this world! Hope this helps thanks everyone missed you all: Strange how we never meet and I still miss you all lol: that's cyberspace folks: night nite!

Are you sure it isn't Donner Lake and "all the fine young cannibals?" I agree Doner is almost Donor and so much to be preferred. If you say it is Doner I will take your word as there is certainly room beyond Donner Pass for all of Nevada.
