After looking I zoomed in on it... The water is so clear you can see the rocks at the bottom... Looks like the water is in layers from a light brown to light blue to sky blue... So beautiful tranquil and serene... Glad you had a good time But there is no place like home huh? Love this sis Hugs Susan~

Richard its called donner lake (one "N" or two not sure) and it's outside of Reno Nevada and runs along the Truckee River which is pretty famous and well known: it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up there about 7000 ft the colors of the trees and lakes were out of this world! Are you sure it isn't Donner Lake and "all the fine young cannibals?" I agree Doner is almost Donor and so much to be preferred. If you say it is Doner I will take your word as there is certainly room beyond Donner Pass for all of Nevada.
