Description

Ok it friday lol. I know things get slow on friday and Saturday here so I post what ever May not be the best but then I do not know at times, Like my swamp photos lol Thanks for all that put some as they favorites. I thought they was not good. Goes to show I know nothing. But I show a little of what I know in blacklights. Maybe I going up the wrong tree here shooting these but I like to do them so I have fun doing it. I take two sheets of transparency file [printing type] and put cooking oil and neon paint on one and place the other on top then I shoot them as you see here with a camera on a tripod. In number 1 I peeled the two sheets apart. But i do that last. In number 2 I place some neon clay there to see what what. Yes my camera moved even thought I have it on a tripod. My camera do not support a cable click thing lol . In number 3 I got some old ones I did and let them dry up to see what happens and I place them on top or under and move them around. Yes I do take it off the tripod of lay the tripod down and I have my hand resting on something to get close ups. I need a tripod that have a arm that I can put at a 90 degrees lol Guess they have them i just did not look. I saw one on line that the legs bend. I think it called gorilla tripod. I long winded lol sorry But I just like to show some things I do to get the shots in blacklights and when I get another camera I show how I do most my shoots Oh the reason why I posted this way is like someone just looking at photos and lay them dowm on a table.

I think seeing this is great. I love to think up new things too but I'm not as creative as you are. My best find so far was walking through the garden at night with a small battery operated light on a stick. I put it behind things and shoot for a lit-up affect. Sometimes it works well, other times not so well. These are very interesting!

Thanks for sharing! I think this is so cool and like knowing your process. You created some cool design here just for explanation purposes. I especially like #3 and a couple of the bottom ones ;)

You sure do get some cool designs with that technique! That's for a 'behind the scenes' view & explanation! (:

Jocko, thank you for the interesting tour of step-by-step blacklight methods. Most enlightening! Takes a lot of imagination. Those are real cool shots of the process. Looks like you're mixing ingredients for a pizza pie or something. Anyway, you put a lot of work into your creations and that's worth a high five, my friend!

These are really great. I like how they hide some defects that might show in a bigger image of anyone. There is a liquidity that I would love to see in a bigger one. It's there just somehow I know it could go awry as you try to use what you already have. Post has it's discipline.
