Danger is soft in fog. The horrible crunch and grinding metal seems just off. Yet somehow we are each enough of an individual that our little pods of stereotype move feet or inches from each other never ever contacting. This is why I never go to the barber shop. No touch!! I have spent enough time on airfields to keep my wingtips and fin tops clear.

I agree with st_fish, the tower is special, adds depth to the fog. Great capture for a first try.

Fabulous snapshot! How could you get this? Like you said, it's always too busy. Fog like this is scary to drive in.

Woe! Good fog! Living on the Gulf Coast we had what we called indian fog --"A-patchy" fog -- where saying zero visibility was not good enough. It was more like a minus 10% visibility! I've driven with wipers on and my head hung out the car window trying to see my hood ornament at least! This is a great photo! the disappearing tower is excellent.

I can relate Richard! I am usually smack dab in the middle of fog, unable to stop and enjoy it's amazing beauty. Wonderful shot, the building in the distance really looks amazing cut off by the thick air. I can spot a Honda Ridgeline a mile away! So typical I see in your area as well, so many think they can drive without their lights on, like they are visable in fog...those drivers' drive me nuts!! Stunning shot! [=
