Terrain is made in TerraFormer 2049 x 2049 a bit modified in terragen, added a bit more glaciaton. Renderd at 6000 x 4500. As overlay for the pebbles (scaled at 1200 x 1200) I used a picture of my gardenpath

Great concept! There are a couple of problems I notice: usually rocks which are underwater will appear darker and more far away due to refraction. Also, the rocks seem too uniform in size, overall. This might be remedied by using the stretch or distort feature in your postwork program, so that the foreground rocks appear larger. Selective darkening or a new layer for the submerged rocks would complete the process. Despite all this, it is still one great scene!
