Description

Hello Everyone; As I have said before, I believe every image has two stories. First is the story that the image tells and the other is the storie behind taking the image. The story behind this image is that I went out to the one of the forests preserves of the beautiful state of Illinois today to take this photograph. I kept walking and taking pictures but before I knew it, I was deep in the woods not remembering which way was the way back to the main trail. (Normally I keep track of natural land marks since I was dog a trainer for wilderness search and rescue for a little while). It had just started raining and it was getting dark. I had forgotten to take my GPS device with me and I was very new to these woods. To make the long story short, I was lost in these woods with absolutly no one in sight for a good two hours. Clouds were very heavy and I could not see the sun to tell which side was east. Believe me, It is very eerie to be out in the woods while raining and knowing that it is going to be pitch dark within minutes and you are absolutly lost with no flash light. I did finally run into some people by luck, who were sort of lost themselves but knew the woods better than me, and we collectively found our way back. Take this advise from me please, go out to the woods fully prepared, map of the woods, a GPS tracking device and most certainly plenty of drinking water and a flash light. Hadi

Excellant fall colors with the view of the leaves all on the ground. It is odd to me since I live in the desert southwest and we dont have sights like this. Grew up on the East coast but I have almost forgotten what Fall looks like.

Very impressive once again Hadi!! Hehehe i posted mine today and now its yours :) And i guess we will post some more colourful autumn! This shot is well composed and the POV is amazing.. The semi-wide border is a nice touch, but.. I guess the typo is a bit distracting! I know that you know what i mean right? A bit blending and 1/2 size of that font will do.. Other then that! You will still get your 5/5 since i can manage and let my eyes ignore the font! Thank you so much and have a nice day + weekend JOE

WOW What a shot the colors in this are amazing! yeah pretty scary when you suddenly realize that you dont know where you are.... I have that problem in large shops :| hmmmm least there are normaly many people there to help LOL... Once again stunning shot mate! Thanks for sharing!
