Description

FE BarnsleyM1 formula viewed as Julia. Sea added in PI. Quinquereme of Nineveh from distant Ophir Rowing home to haven in sunny Palestine With a cargo of ivory, And apes and peacocks, sandalwood, cedarwood and sweet white wine. Stately Spanish galleon coming from the isthmus, dipping through the tropics by the palm-green shores With a cargo of diamonds, emeralds, amethysts, Topazes and cinammon, and gold moidores. Dirty British coaster with a silt caked smokestack Butting through the Channel in the mad March days, With a cargo of Tyne coal, Road-rails, Pig- lead Firewood ironware and cheap tin trays. I love the words and the change of tempo in the hilarious last verse. We used to sing it in our School choir. I was never the soloist I hasten to add:-)) I thank you all who gave me such encouragement on my last post.

Outstanding and highly creative work , Jenny ! Never seen anything quite like this ! It really looks lik a Spanish Galleon loaded with treasure from the Americas at the time of the Conquistadors - gorgeous silvery sea and exquisitely decorated hull.................. superb , superb !!
