Description
This is model #5 in Toon Santa's Christmas Village 2006 - Toon Santa's Ice Rink. The model itself is fairly simple, though its the repetition that was a challenge. The tree, for example, uses texturing and transparency to work its magic. This was created in Max 7 and exported to 3DS format. Then, imported into Vue 5. Lights were added to the lanterns (the Vue .vob version has these lights as you see here) and then rendered at broadcast.
