Description

Actually, this is just one more photo from my vast library of unusual weather phenomena over Southern California I captured during an eleven day span in December 2005. Despite the threatening display, no rain resulted from all this posturing. Anyway, I thought I would include this one today in reverent observance of the upcoming Halloween weekend. Gotta get in the mood, you know! Thanks for dropping by, and have a day fit for a carefree soul!

The clouds have such high contrast colour it looks 3D. Very dramatic. The bird adds spice to your composition.

Have you ever noticed under a sky like that there seems to be so little sound, and whatever there is seems to be caught in cotton batting? That's really eerie. Thanks for sharing. BJ
