Description

Ah.. well, the drawing-type stuff hasn't been going too well for the last few days so stepped back to doing a straight-ish render. With a lot of messing about in photoshop afterwards, of course :) Thanks again go to Lisa Gerrard for the inspiration - I finally got a copy of The Mirror Pool and it's magnificent. Hope you all enjoy and have a safe & happy Samhain! I'll be back online tomorrow night and am looking forward to having a good trawl through everyones galleries and see what all have been up to :) Hugs and happy rendering - comments and constructive criticism is always welcomed. Beautiful work, as always. Effective use of focus to maintain attention on the curiously off-centered subject. Her red dress against the leached-out earth colors also works quite well. Very subtle work on the dust and the magic stars.
