I was born on 03/01/1985 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and have one older brother who is into computer programming. Growing up in Zimbabwe was a fantastic experience (all the good and the bad). Things got incredibly tough which led to my family immigrating to New Zealand.
My father arrived in NZ in March 02, my brother and i arrived in NZ on 11 june 02 and my mother arrived in NZ in july 02.Life in NZ has been a huge learning curve but one worth experiencing. I've just finished a 4 year BSc(tech) degree in Marine Science at the University of Waikato and is now undertaking a Masters degree in science. Hope you all have an awesome day :>

sigh I lost my comment :( Oh well.... As I had typed before: This is an excellent shot! Perfect focus and the compo couldn't be any better I dont think! Only problem one might have with this is the saturation of the green in the grass there might be a bit much but I think it adds something special to this shot... Hmmm where abouts is this? :P I'd like to try a few long exposures in a place like this.... Excellent work, a great start to what I'm sure it going to be an awesome gallery! Ya sure are a fast learner aren't you ;)! Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a wonderful week!

I agree with Kai right to the capture being very good. I would have tried to either lower or move up the horison a tad, but try first and see for yourself if it really enhances what you wanted to portray. I'd love to see more in future, good luck!

agreed with kai here - the grass is a bit too green. Maybe it is a bit overexposed here (the sky is white). I can see you have a powershot... try upping the f-number (smaller aperture) a bit, it will get you better results in this situation, as long as camera shake doesnt come into it (and that happens apparently at anything slower than 1/60th of a sec). This is a very good first post, keep 'em coming and any questions ask through the messaging system or over on the photography forum. Welcome to Renderosity! :)

A warm welcome to the world of RR.... Glad to see you summoned up the courage to post an image here. I would have to agree with studmuffin here :P ahhh yeah maybe a bit green but does look good, + unique. Like how the creek draws you into this shot! A mighty fine start if you ask me! :)
