Description
Shot taken yesterday up by Whitby Abbey. I have seen this horse about four times in my life. I always have a pocket full of peppermints just in case I meet a horse or donkey friend. It never ceased to amaze me that horses, donkeys remember me. This horse is such a beautiful natured creature. I called to her, she came to me. We talked, she followed me all the way down the field back to my car. It is a strange thing to say but I know this horse likes me :-) Have a day filled with beauty, be happy. Thank you for looking. Wonderful photo. Good contrast and lighting. Nice POV. I don't know the breed on this but the heavy jaw and muscle structure tells me it is of an older breed and strong stock. Much like the wild ponies or smaller working stock I see around here. Fantastic down to the personality in the eyes.
