This is my very first Butty shot! (I had to take a few to get one good one) Jay!! :o) Hope you like it and puts you in a positive mood for the rest of the week!! In the one hour that I ever shot butterflies, I couldn't capture one with open wings ;o)... This is just perfect. Perfect focus, depth and compo... So what you're gonna do now, huh..? Hard to follow up on a perfect shot, I would say..;o))

Gorgeous soft macro capture of the little guy/gal, Este! The composition looks so dreamlike. I'm jealous because we never have butterflies I can photograph around where I live. Somehow, Kimariehere gets the creatures to land and sit on either her daughter's finger or nose. I can't figure out how she does it.

I clicked and clicked for a year before I ever managed to get a shot this good and you got one on your first attempt. NOt only did you capture him so nicely but he is a very colorful species to boot, lol. Well done. May it be the first of many.
