Description

She was minding her own business flying here and there in the forest when all of a sudden *SNAP* a stick breaks in the distance! She is startled and cautious. Is it man or beast? ***************************************** Some of you might have wondered if I dropped off the face of the earth since I have not uploaded an image in a long time. Now you see what I have been up to. None of you are forgotten and I have drawn so much inspiration from this community that has taken me to the next step in my artwork. This here is a sculpture of a fairy that I did. She is about 6 inches tall if she were standing. She is made from polymer clay and other professional artist mediums. There were no molds used in her creation. She is painted with heatset artist oil paints. Her hair is real Tibetian Lambs hair and her wings are real bug wings imported from Thiland that have been glazed and sealed for strength and irredesence. Her clothing is made from real flower petals and trimmed in tiny glass beads. The mushrooms are also hand sculpted by me and she is on an ancient peice of wood from Africa. You can tell she has a bit of a Pookling look about her, inspired by Thorne of course. I wasn't sure what catergory to put this little girl in, there isn't a scultping catergory so I'm putting her with the rest of my art in Poser Fairies - hope you don't mind. I have done about 35 fairy sculpts now and I will be uploading more pictures. Hope all of the fairy lovers here enjoy!
