Description
A view from Vantage, WA of the Columbia river. It's an incredible place of searing heat and stark beauty. This is so much how it looks to the eye. I know it's close to putting the horizon in the middle of the picture, but the contrast of the sky to the water was so important that I "broke the rule". This digital pic was processed in PS via an action called "Digital Velvia" giving the sometimes rather flat pictures typically from didgital cameras the punch of the famous Velvia films of old.
