Description

Greetings from Ho Chi Minh City (Siagon), I have finally managed to get out and about for a few hours. My guide suggested a visit to the "War Remnants Museum" and I agreed. The museum is quite interesting although totally plagued by anti-US propaganda..to the extend where it actually loses the effect that I believe the Vietnamese Government was after. No matter, it was still interesting, with some very disturbing as well as some amazing photography and artefacts. I saw this Buddhist Monk looking around the museum. He kept going up and touching the machines of war arranged around him. I would love to have asked him what he was thinking about but I did not want to disturb him. My last two posts
