Nicely done. I like the actors separate from the scene and the scene separate from the actors, but I just get the feeling that it looks like the actors are pasted on the scene. It might be the lighting and shadows. Since she's illuminating the deer, she may be illuminating the rock behind her. Have you tried seating her with the deer in front of the rock and the cat on her lap? But overall good idea and I love the background colors.

as impression and opinion are solely based on the eyes of the beholder when viewing an image or any other piece of art for that matter I am going with well done and I to enjoy the lighting on this image I think the idea of seating her is great maybe for a followup image as the change in pose would bring about a diferent emotion one of a more intamate feel but need not take away from this one -this is wonderful and has a sence of purity to it for sure thankyou for sharing
