Description

Last week was the annual Covered Brige Festival here... something I normally try hard to avoid... and often refer to as "Cluster Fest". 10 days of congested driving, headaches, irritable people, and accidents. But I went... not once... but twice this year. And didn't buy much of anything ~laugh~ But I did take some photos. One of which I actually wanted to share this morn... Bridgeton Bridge was originally built in 1868 by Joseph Daniels, but was destroyed by arson fire April 28, 2005. The photo above is of the new bridge that was rebuilt this year. this link shows what the bridge looked like the morning of the fire: http://www.parkecounty.com/site_photos/gallery/108.JPG
